ADBAnner

I have created an Ad Banner using the programs, Flash and Photoshop.  These are two amazing programs that can do many different things.  I created this banner to advertise Taco Bell’s tastiest foods, sides, drinks, and desserts.  The audience of this ad is mainly teenagers and adults that enjoy fast food.  The message of this advertisement is to persuade more people to eat taco bell.  It is showing them all of the foods that they offer.

In order to create this ad for my computers and technology class, I had to use several different tools and effects.  First, I used Photoshop to edit all of my pictures, which I got from either Google Images or tacobell.com.  I used the crop tool, on almost every picture.  I changed the color effects of the photos as well by using tools such as; hue/saturation, brightness/contrast, vibrance, shadows and highlights, and levels.

Next, I imported all of my pictures into my library in Flash and followed the tutorial on how to make a slide show animation in Flash.  This tutorial is what helped me create this advertisement.  I had to use the align tools such as; align horizontal center and align vertical center on every photo to make it directly in the center of the ad.  I had to convert each photo to a symbol and make them movie clips as well in order for them to animate.  Another tool that I used quite often was the selection tool in order to select the photo or frames.  I inserted key frames to create animation, as well as using the classic tween tool.  I used the filter tool to adjust the color of the photos.  I used the text tool to add text to my photos.

Overall, I enjoyed doing this project, although there was times when I got very frustrated and hated it.  I think it made me more familiar with Flash and will help me on future projects.
